Monitoring the reproductive success of Cory’s shearwaters on the Tremiti Islands has been completed.

Look at the beautiful down crests on the chicks found in the nests monitored by colleagues at @unibaofficial.

Now they’re all embarking on their first flights into the open sea, where they’ll roam for the next three years before returning to their colony.

Fair winds, and once again, thank you to all the people who continue to support us in protecting this species, which is part of the identity of these beautiful islands!
